Tazo Butterscotch Blondie Tea Review

Tazo Butterscotch Blondie tea review is below. I saw this tea at the grocery store and while I didn’t need to buy yet another box of tea, I was intrigued. It is a black tea with “notes of butterscotch and vanilla”. I like butterscotch, though it’s definitely not my go-to flavor, but I am in love with vanilla black tea which is difficult to find, so I had to try it.

Tea Time Thoughts

Tazo Butterscotch Blondie Tea is delicious and I loved it. Seriously. I thought the butterscotch might be weird but it’s not at all. I’m not sure if it tastes like butterscotch but it definitely has a hint of a buttery flavor. It was sweeter than most teas while unsweetened.¬† I added just a little sugar, about a teaspoon, and a splash of almond milk and I think that really brought out the flavor.

Tea Specs

Caffeine: Caffeine content of the tea is 16-30 mg, which is around fifth the caffeine in a cup of coffee. That’s one of the reasons I tried it today, because I’m just coming off a case of pneumonia and with all my medications I can’t have a ton of caffeine right now.

Ingredients: Ingredients are black tea, natural flavors, chicory root, cocoa peel, licorice root, cinnamon and cardamom.

Price: The price was really great at the grocery store, I think just under $3.00. You can purchase it on Amazon as well.

Tazo also makes two other teas in the Dessert Delights series, Glazed Lemon Loaf, an herbal tea, and Vanilla Bean Macaron, another black tea. I definitely will be trying these soon.

Have you tried any of the Tazo Dessert Delights teas yet? What did you think?
