THIS IS NOT A PHYSICAL PRODUCT

Crochet your own garlic pillow with this Garlic Pillow Crochet Pattern!

The pattern includes two PDFs, one in small print and one in large print. Each pattern includes both written instructions and a tutorial with photos. Print instructions are included so you can choose whether to print the shorter written pattern only or the longer tutorial style pattern with images.

PATTERN OVERVIEW

This pattern creates a garlic pillow 10-11 inches wide and 10-11 inches tall. It includes written instructions using standard US crochet terms and tutorials with images. A printer-friendly version with instructions only and no images is included along with printing instructions. An identical large font version of this pattern is included in a separate PDF. The main body of the garlic pillow is made using single crochet in the round. The garlic body is made in one continuous piece, with three stops for stuffing and shaping.  At one of these stops the yarn is cut and reattached after shaping. It is shaped by using crochet cotton thread to create the garlic clove ‘bumps’. The pillow is slip stitched closed at the top, then surface crochet is used to complete the shape by adding an open point at the top. The garlic roots are made separately using single crochet in the round and the long roots are attached individually. The whole root piece is then sewn onto the finished garlic pillow.
