Unicorn Hideout is a female + LGBTQ-run store and blog.
Formerly, this website was only a blog and our handmade wares were sold only on Etsy. If you see some content that seems odd for a store selling stuffed crab rangoons, that is why! Browse around and you can find DIYs, food & drink recipes, travel tips and more alongside those fluffy little crab rangoon.
Speaking of the crab rangoon, all fiber arts featured for sale are hand crafted just for you by Carly, long time fiber artist and crab rangoon enthusiast. All pieces are designed by us unless another designer is referenced in the item description.
All tshirts are designed by us and printed by the professionals over at Printful. Printing products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions.

About Us
Unicorn Hideout is run by Carly (she/her) & Jamie (she/her), two lesbians with a shared love of crafts, travel and pickles. They are working on their sixth year of marriage and live in Missouri with our sweet elderly cat Frankie (she/her).
Jamie has a long history of creating serious drink recipes for whole parties full of people with whatever is around and has been crafting since she was a child. She’s a casual doomsday prepper and outdoorswoman who loves animals. Carly has been blogging and creating websites since blogging and creating your own website was a thing (Remember Geocities?). She enjoys creating intricate budgets for low cost road trips, finding thrift store treasures and editing videos to try to make herself and everyone around her look as ridiculous as possible.
We are a couple of weirdos who aren’t afraid to laugh at ourselves. Laugh at us too if you want. It’s fine. But probably mostly at Jamie, she’s the funny one.
